Reaching the sand, you can stroll along the soft shoreline, swim in the calm, coral-protected turquoise lagoon, or capture photos against the backdrop of the white limestone walls.

From Melasti, travel along the coastal ridges to Padang Padang Beach (Labuan Sait). This world-famous surf cove, featured in the Hollywood movie 'Eat Pray Love', is hidden beneath high volcanic cliffs. To reach the sandy shore, you will walk down a unique, narrow staircase cut directly through a cleft in the solid rock. Emerging onto the beach, you will find a pristine sandy bay shaded by overhanging trees, where professional surfers catch long-rolling breaks further out on the reef. It is a wonderful spot to relax, dip your toes in the ocean, or enjoy a fresh young coconut under the shade of the cliffs.

Next, your guide will take you inland to the monumental Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK) Cultural Park. Covering over 60 hectares of former limestone quarry, this park is home to Bali's most ambitious modern monument: the colossal 121-meter-tall statue of Lord Vishnu riding the mythical bird Garuda. This spectacular copper and brass sculpture is taller than the Statue of Liberty and represents the protector deity of Hindu belief. You will have ample time to walk through the giant stone columns, explore the beautiful exhibition halls, and watch traditional Balinese dances performed by local theater groups, followed by a delicious buffet lunch featuring authentic local specialties.

In the late afternoon, travel to Pura Luhur Uluwatu, a sacred sea temple perched dramatically on the edge of a sheer vertical cliff 97 meters above the crashing waves of the Indian Ocean. Built in the 11th century to protect Bali from evil sea spirits, this temple is one of the island's six key spiritual pillars (Sad Kahyangan). As dusk falls, you will take your seat in the open-air cliffside amphitheater next to the temple. A choir of over fifty shirtless men circles a central torch, chanting 'cak-cak-cak' in hypnotic rhythms to tell the ancient story of the Ramayana. The show climbs to a dramatic finale as the mythical white monkey monkey-god Hanuman leaps through circles of fire.
